This class is for thespians of all levels. Whether you're a pro or are completely new to the stage, students will explore the joy of acting and learn the fundamentals through improv games, scene study, and character building in a fun and encouraging environment. Often we tap into our own imaginations, collaborate, and take the process from page to stage! Our final class will be an informal showing to perform for family and friends.

Got a funny kid?

Now's your chance to give them a chance to write their own unique material and get into the spotlight! Working with veteran stand-up comic, Robin Reiser (as seen on Last Comic Standing, E!, Oxygen and more) students learn the basics of writing jokes that work, building delivery skills, and boosting confidence! We will explore Improv and sketch writing - giving them a space to learn and build their own comedic voice.

8 in-person classes

Followed by live final performance

23rd Annual Wonder of Women (WOW) Event to Feature Comedian and Storyteller Robin Reiser

Guest Speaker for Main Street Community Foundation’s Women & Girls Fund

Robin will close the Wonder of Women (WOW) event on May 1st. WOW is an annual event whose proceeds support grants for programs that make it possible for women and girls in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington, and Wolcott to improve the conditions and opportunities in their lives. Because of the community’s generosity and support of WOW, MSCF has awarded $780,000 in grants and immediate response funds from the Women & Girls Fund since its establishment in 2001 as a community-based endowment.
